"Growing up, I always had a passion for animals big and small. I majored in Zoology, which only furthered my love for different animals and their life processes. Being surrounded by pets and the people that love them every day is truly a dream!"

Alyssa has a three-year-old tortie cat, Piper, who is the definition of "tortitude." She adopted Piper while in college at UC Santa Barbara, and since then, Piper has traveled with Alyssa all throughout California, and even made the journey with her to Texas! In her free time, Peper enjoys climbing on kitchen counters and cabinets, begging for Greenies, listening to John Mayer, and snuggling with her mom when she feels like it.
