Dr. Jennifer Bucher is from Overland Park, Kansas, and attended Kansas State University for both her undergrad and completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. While at Kansas State, she ran on both the Cross Country and Track teams. After graduating, Dr. Bucher spent seven years working in the Kansas City and Overland Park area, where she worked at a busy AAHA accredited 5-doctor practice. She has since then, moved to Austin, back to Kansas City, and returned to Austin, where she hopes to stay permanently. Her areas of interest include behavior, endocrinology, cardiology, and dermatology. Dr. Bucher is Fear Free™ certified and feels it really benefits her patients and their families.

In her free time, Dr. Bucher enjoys working out at Orange Theory, taking hikes, enjoying nature, reading, and attending her four children’s various activities. She lives with a mischievous adopted French Bulldog named Bridget, two cats, Loki and Lola, and a Netherland Dwarf bunny named Milo.
