"Animals have always had a special place in my heart and I have always felt compelled to help an animal in need. I chose the veterinary industry because animals are my passion. Being able to help my furry friends and family truly brings joy to my life and I make sure to treat every patient as if they were my own fur baby."

Erisa has two cats, Oliver and Mia. Mia, a small kitten at the time, was adopted in 2007 while Erisa attended the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mia is a Siamese mix who is very spunky, independent, and sassy. She spends most of her time sunbathing on the balcony listening to classical music, and making sure her fur-brother Oliver stays out of trouble. Oliver is an orange tabby that entered Erisa's life in 2009. Oliver is loving, cuddly, and a huge mama's boy! He loves nature documentaries, and to bird watch on his favorite spot, the window sill. Erisa could not imagine her life without her two furbabies.
