"Ever since I was young I've loved helping pets and people in my community. The veterinary industry seemed like a natural fit to me. I started at SPAH 10 years ago, and even though my marketing career path has taken me more behind the scenes, I love that I can reach people on a larger scale. Every day I get to showcase the importance of the human-animal bond, help educate pet parents on a variety of medical topics, and show the Austin community how special our team and hospital truly are. To me, there is nothing more rewarding."

Leigh has two Boston Terriers named Othello and Rigby. Othello is her oldest and lives a more peaceful lifestyle, but in his heyday, he loved doing agility with his mom, playing ball for hours, and learning new tricks almost daily. Rigby may not be the smartest dog around, but he has a high emotional intelligence and is always there to cheer you up. His main focus these days is watching over his four-year-old little boy, following him around in case he drops any food. When he is not playing babysitter to his human, he is a big couch potato who loves to cuddle day and night!
