Why Naomi chose the veterinary industry: “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a deep love for animals. My first best friend was a brown Labrador Retriever named Chocolate, who was always by my side. This passion led me to volunteer at animal shelters and dog sit for family pets until I could have my own. I believe the smallest difference can make the biggest change in our community if we take the steps to care for one another. I plan to make that dream a reality by helping others through the care of their animals because I truly believe that animals help when we need a hug or just a friend to be by our side. I’m thrilled to contribute to my community by caring for their fur babies as if they were my own family.”

About Naomi's pets: Naomi is a proud owner of two adorable Dachshunds, Chowder and Nacho. One of her favorite activities is racing Nacho in events around Austin with a good friend who also has two food-named Dachshunds. They proudly call themselves Team Nacho Beans!
